Have u seen the movie "Water" ?

hi
just watched the movie "Water" by Deepa Mehta.
Left me feeling ashamed of the society we had during those times (early 19th century) where widows were treated as inhumans.
and the conditions are not much impressive as of today also as still indian society faces problems like dowry, child marriage ( in some part of northern india) , female abuses etc.
Ofcourse, we have made progress and women are handling key positions in almost all the fields and they have proved themselves participating and contributing with the males in all the fields such as from manufacturing to management but still i think all these progress is limited to metros or big cities but in rural parts the situation is not so good.
The only solution to make a better tomorrow is education and an attitude of open mindedness.
And we are already on that path so i'm hoping for the best.

First day of Blogging

Its early in the morning and i still can't go to sleep
i don't know why, probably dissatisfaction with the day passed by without a much of achievement or insomnia??????????
Anyways, always look for the brighter side of the life.........
let me try go to sleep as tomorrow always comes and its mine.
